The Allied Workplace Deck™

A practical, accessible tool to help teams build more inclusive, communicative, and collaborative workplaces—without needing complex systems or expensive training. Designed for real workplaces, the Allied Workplace Deck™ helps bridge the gap between people and systems—one conversation, practice, and shift at a time.

How it works

It is a hands-on card system with team exercises, dialogue prompts, manager micropractices, and everyday strategies that shift behavior, improve communication, and increase productivity. The cards use simple, actionable language and can be integrated into a 5–10 minute practice during team meetings or 1:1s, making it easy to use within existing workflows.

A tool for real conversations, real scenarios, and real change.

Actionable

Many workplaces want to be more inclusive and supportive—but there is often a gap between what people want to do and what actually happens.

This deck helps close that gap.

Accessible

With visuals designed centering accessibility, the first prototype is legible to people with dyslexia, color-blindness, and low-vision.

Affordable

Compared to traditional solutions, this tool offers a low-cost, high-impact entry point. It provides:

  • an ongoing resource teams can return to

  • a way to build skills over time

  • a tool that can scale across teams and organizations

Testimonials

"Shekinah has seriously elevated my skillsets as a grant writer and organizer for HONK! PDX. She helped us develop an amazing sponsorship packet so we could approach local businesses and organizations for support confidently and professionally. We were able to secure several sponsorships because of her knowledge and expertise. I also attended Shekinah's grant workshop recently, where she highlighted ways we could make our grant writing stronger. She provided constructive feedback and taught me skills I can carry with me into the future like using ChatGPT to compare our grants to the organization's goals. I highly recommend Shekinah for any of your nonprofit needs. She is professional, attentive, incredibly talented in her craft, patient, kind, and a great communicator. She can bring people together and inspire them to work towards a common goal. As a queer person, she made me feel safe, heard and respected. I came away from each interaction with her armed with the knowledge and motivation to take my nonprofit to the next level."
